san francisco

i had always thought that a road trip across the country would be super fun. i was wrong. fifteen hours straight is about the max i ever want to spend in a car in any given week, but hanging out in san francisco made the drive worth it. we did the usual touristy things - fishermans wharf, alcatraz, trolleying, shopping, eating.
we also visited berkeley because we wanted to buy some t-shirts. i have to say that their bioengineering building is super nice.

my favorite part of the trip was probably eating at the house of prime rib. that place is gooood. my second favorite part was eating some dynamite dragon rolls at a sushi place a block away from kat's place. my third favorite part was eating...yeah, i pretty much enjoyed all the eating i did in san fran. of course, it was also fun hanging out with old seattle friends and new san fran friends. nothing like spending 108 hours straight together.

san francisco is pretty awesome. i'll definitely go back at some point in my life - flying down though, not driving. i'm feeling like some prime rib...
