you know you're supposed to use a new sponge every 2-3 weeks? well, i didn't. i heard you could nuke them and they're good as new though. anyways, so about a month and a half after my first sponge i figure i might as well change it. i look in my coat closet and find a pack on a shelf. then i look in the laundry closet and find a pack. apparently my mom believes in changing sponges every week...and buying them in bulk at costco.
i cooked again. breakfast. i think i can do breakfast.
this place has a skippers. i have yet to go. this place also has a chinese buffet. i dunno, i'd just feel weird going to an all-you-can-eat by myself. although if i get desperate i just might. i went to bend's version of china express called china doll. i could make better chinese food than that. i don't even know what to do. i'm also craving seafood. chinese style. honey walnut prawns. fried salt and pepper squid. the crab you get with all those crazy family style meals. salt and pepper shrimp. hot pot sounds good right now too. maybe i should get me one of those things. wonton soup too.
i've been listening to jay chou and david tao. i never thought it'd come to this. it's the closest thing to good chinese food i can get. as in, they're real chinese people.
i'm ready for thanksgiving too. turkey and gravy. stuffing and gravy. honey baked ham. chicken. steak. mashed potatoes and gravy. peking duck and assorted dishes from a chinese restaurant. i love chinese thanksgiving - you get the best of both worlds.
i've been watching a lot of tv. every other commercial is endless shrimp or never-ending pasta bowl.
didn't think someone could write about food for this long huh? i'd write more, but i gotta go eat something now. made myself hungry.

Speaking of food, watch out for people wielding onions - if they're in Des Moines, they could be anywhere.
